2. Describe your protagonist. Age, Physical, Psychological Make -up
Colin, 12 years old, trying to travel from his home in the Frasier valley to his grandma and grandpas farm in Alberta. His is psychological make up is traumatised, but still very functional and he has quick reflexes. He often gets sad about his loses but he is very intelligent and knows what his goals are. He is around 4’4 and weighs around 70 lbs. he has dirty blond hair, hazel eyes and freckles around his nose.

3. Describe your home. What have you done to ensure your safety?
Colin does not have a home. He is traveling across the rocky mountains so he camps under trees off the road. He is very cautious about where he sleep because he is aware of the dangers of traveling on the road.

4. What kinds of things have you done to ensure your survival?

5. What is the central conflict of your story?
Man vs. environment -The central conflict is Colin traveling to his grand parents farm.
Man vs. self- Colin has an inner struggle because he’s alone and he misses his parents.

6. What is the climax of the story?
When Colin is running away from the men in the town.

7. How does your protagonist change over the story?
He becomes a lot less fearful and more trusting and he becomes happy.

8. Describe the use of irony in your story
There is irony when he is playing in the ash, pretending it is snow.
When he thinks the men in the town are murdering but they actually save him.

9. What are some examples of symbol in your story?
The picture represents his parents and how they are traveling with him where ever he goes and the peach juice represent how is much he misses his mother.

10. What is the theme of your story?
The theme of the story is to never give up always fight for what you want which is what he had to do to make it all the way home.
